The band, whose sound has been described as a stagecoach in overdrive, has brought their eclectic blend of punk, bluegrass, dixieland, and circus tunes to packed bars, basements, and festivals across the United States since 2007.

The Sugar Prophets, are an interesting amalgam of backgrounds and talent that have seemingly merged together in the right time, place, and groove. Fiery singer and harp ace Josh Spence combine with veteran guitar slingers A.J “Apple Jack” Williams and Joe Asselin(formerly of the Kilborn Alley Blues Band), along with a groovin’ rhythm section of Al Chapman and Vince “Fuzz” Elam to create their own sweet sound of the Blues! Come out January 6th to help us send our IBC Challenge winner, Hurricane Ruth, off to Memphis for the Blues Foundation International Challenge in PCBS-style. Those of you lucky enough to catch the band at Memphis on Main in October know what a high-energy show this group puts on. Hurricane Ruth has been working hard in the studio to complete a new CD. We're hoping to have that available at the show.

Hailing from Champaign, Illinois; Vanattica is an original Rock/Pop band that combines the vocal purity of Fall Out Boy with the edge and power of Atreyu.
